Privacy notice

This notice describes information handled through Divjyot Singh’s personal engineering portfolio at divjyotsingh.com. For a question or request, email Divjyotsingh099@gmail.com.

Information you send

The contact form asks for your name, email address and message. When you press Send message, these details go to FormSubmit to deliver your inquiry to my Gmail inbox. I use them to read, respond to and follow up on your inquiry. The portfolio itself has no message database, account registration, newsletter or payment system. Please do not send passwords, financial details, medical information or confidential project material.

FormSubmit may present a spam check on its own website. Its processing is described in the FormSubmit privacy notice. Gmail is provided by Google; see Google’s privacy policy. You can use the email link instead of the form, although email providers still process that message.

Requests needed to deliver the site

The hosting and network services receive technical request information, such as IP address, requested URL, time and browser information, to deliver and protect the site. The portfolio is hosted through OpenAI Sites with Cloudflare infrastructure. Those providers may keep service or security logs under their own policies: OpenAI and Cloudflare. The portfolio code does not add visitor analytics, advertising pixels or a marketing profile.

Optional CAD viewers and links

CAD models are hosted by Autodesk. The embedded viewer is blocked until you choose to allow it. Once allowed, Autodesk receives connection and usage information and may use cookies or similar technologies. See Autodesk’s privacy statement and the cookie notice. You can block the viewer again through Cookie settings.

Photos, videos, fonts and the resume are served from this website. Following LinkedIn, Autodesk or another external link takes you to that service, whose privacy practices apply there.

Storage and retention

The site uses limited browser storage for your entrance-screen and privacy preferences, described in the cookie notice. Contact correspondence can remain in my inbox while handling the inquiry and related follow-up, and when needed for legitimate recordkeeping or legal obligations. The website does not automatically delete messages from my mailbox or provider systems. You may ask me to delete correspondence I control. Providers have their own retention and backup practices.

Your choices and requests

You can browse without sending a message, leave external viewers blocked, and manage browser storage. Contact me to request access to, correction of or deletion of information you have sent. I may need to verify a request before acting on it. Depending on the law that applies, you may also have rights to object, restrict processing, obtain a copy or complain to your local privacy regulator.

Where a lawful basis is required, responding to an inquiry and maintaining a secure portfolio serve legitimate interests; optional viewer storage is based on your choice to allow it. You can withdraw that choice at any time without changing processing that already occurred. Service providers may process information in the United States or other countries under their own arrangements.

Children and updates

This portfolio is intended for professional and educational visitors, not directed to children under 13. If a child has sent personal information, contact me to request removal of information I control. Changes to this notice will be dated on this page.
